Aboriginal Law

Aboriginal Law practice encompasses the day-to-day issues of Aboriginal government, including designations, by-laws, estates, various reserve property matters, expropriations, and funding arrangements; as well as the broader issues of aboriginal title, aboriginal rights, consultation, comprehensive and specific Native land claims, and the negotiation of agreements with both federal and provincial levels of government.

This experience also extends to the drafting of codes and laws for those First Nations entering the First Nations Land Management Act.
